Born in 1984, a multi color Textile Artist and designer graduated from Shenkar College for engineering and design Israel in 2009 and a graduate with M.DES from Bezalel academy of Arts and Designs in 2016. Working from her studio in Tel Aviv, established in 2010.
Tamar's studio is engaged to the research of new surfaces and prints which are a unique development in the contemporary craft world.
Tamar creates one of a kind textile art, an abstract inspiration of the beautiful nature and landscapes around her: wild sea, dry desert, naked tree tops and the decay of flowers.
Tamar believes that every person is a collector and every home is a museum and that the most beautiful fact about textile design is that it can be anything, so she explores various artistic fields such as: interior, fashion and art.
By creating her poetic art Tamar tells a story about life, time and the emotions within.

About the process
Tamar's studio is engaged to the research of new surfaces and prints which are a unique development in the contemporary craft world.
Tamar takes the benefits of the digital print technology and uses it to bring life to her original and vivid stylish collections, inspired by the different landscapes. The prints are coming from organic materials such as dried flowers, leaves, feathers and old 40's cookbook pages, creating poetic textures.
Tamar scan and digital print her collages, explores how these materials decay in real life but still remain full of life in her textiles. In her collections she translates her romantic feelings into artistic craft design products. Each item is printed in a limited edition, Handmade in the studio, signed by her.
The poetic fabrics, One of a Kind artistic textiles are made in an original making process, inspired by the traditional Devore’ textile technique. Tamar’s textiles look old and crumbled, yet, they are new and durable, soft and poetic.
