A contemporary artwork, between abstract to figurative, inspired by 1950's cookbook. Using delicate textile processing such as printing, sewing, burning, tearing and wrinkling the original pages, Tamar turned the text into texture and the pages into visual scenes.

The green shades, with natural skin tones and white makes this artwork full of presence. 

This mix media art brings a unique look of art and design, suitable for private residences and public spaces.

About the technique: This artwork was made by using a unique technique in which fabric and paper are sewn together and undergo a process of deliberate abrasion and fraying resulting that makes the surface look like an expressive painting.
